The centerpiece was John Calhoun pulling all 4,400 BSV blocks from the last 30 days and checking coinbase tags. Only 1.6% are provably Teranode, tagged as TAAL's `/taal.com_TERANODE/`. Kurt Wuckert Jr replied that GorillaPool is cycling Teranode on and off with company hash power while reporting bugs to the BSV Association, with a stated goal of switching customer hash and deprecating SV Node from the stack by year-end. He also mentioned a bespoke pool-Teranode-JungleBus stack called "GorillaNode."
Wolfie (@Kaspa_HypeMan) attacked Teranode as "not a node" but a Kubernetes cluster with Aerospike, PostgreSQL, S3 and a 3-broker Kafka minimum. Casey pushed back that the 3-node K8s figure is the production HA path and that the docs also ship a supported single-host configuration. This connects to a longer Ori Newman thread on PoW security, where Ori argued natural 10-minute reorgs raise confirmation time and reduce security. Casey countered that 0-conf is fine for most everyday payments and that GhostDAG's "k" parameter and probabilistic finality claims do not translate into the "6-confirmation-equivalent in 15 seconds" comparison Kaspa proponents make. FreshAir08 defended probabilistic finality as standard in cryptography and questioned Casey's cheque analogy.
John Calhoun also called out `maxopsperscriptpolicy` limits on BSV, arguing miners should raise it to 10MB and that Teranode Group is currently orphaning blocks at higher limits. Teranode's official account continued pushing throughput framing: 1M+ tx/sec sustained, ~1M tx per subtree, 1 subtree/sec baseline, ~600 subtrees per 10-minute block for 600M tx/block, no hard cap. The project claims 8,578+ commits, 19 contributors, and 9 releases across 3+ years.
The BSV Association announced bringing item-level digital identity and traceability capabilities to Textile Exchange's Community Cohort. Chainspect reported BSV's activity 8x'd in one day (+755%) and that BSV processed 2.17M transactions the previous day, its highest daily total in a week, following a cumulative 7.1B transaction milestone.
William Short countered with a bearish read: transactions over 24 hours had dropped to ~51,000, roughly 0.6 TPS, generating just under $6 in fees for miners. He also argued Teranode has been live nearly two years without volume, revenue, hash rate or price gains. This is worth watching against the Chainspect data since they point in opposite directions on the same underlying network.
Ruth Heasman ran a Build Easy on BSV class with Replit that produced three completed apps in one session: a HandCash integration into the Blockspace game, an on-chain note-taking app, and a brochure site listing BSV-integrated apps. Jorge Pelaez celebrated her as a serial BSV builder. Casey mentioned building a knowledge-base tool for BSV logic and implementation.
Babbage clarified that Project Babbage does accept BSV for its BitGenius chatbot and that UHRP servers monetize BRC-26 file hosting using BSV payments; Metanet Academy is not BSV-priced because most students are not yet BSV users. Badger pushed back that this dodges the direct question of accepting BSV. Babbage separately asked whether any publicly recognized charities accept BSV with verifiable type-1 addresses, which drew engagement but no confirmed answer.

Kryptokrates published an on-chain history analysis of what he calls the biggest BSV wallet, claiming a statistically significant pattern (1 in 45 odds of randomness) that "every BSV pump dies the same way."
