Votari Ships, ElectrumSVP Beta Lands, and Kallubi Wallet 1.0.1 Goes Live as BSV Builders Pile On

A cluster of small but real product releases hit this window while regulatory theater around the US Clarity Act dominated speculation and Teranode's team kept walking through its architecture piece by piece.

What Mattered

Protocol and Technical

Teranode explainer series. The @BSVTeranode account posted a run of educational threads across the window: microservices architecture, an enumeration of the eight core services (Asset Server, Propagation, Validator, Subtree Validation, Block Validation, Block Assembly, Blockchain, Alert), gRPC with Protocol Buffers as the internal RPC layer, Kafka as the message broker, and independent scaling per service. None of this is a new announcement — it's background material on already-shipped architecture. The one post in the sequence that generated real technical back-and-forth was the "no mempool" claim, where hbgnostic amplified it and shruggr followed up asking whether Teranode has special handling for non-matured payment channels or simply rejects them. LightBSV added that the mempool is an artifact of single-process node design and Teranode replaces it with a database interface for transaction state. That question from shruggr is open.

ElectrumSVP 0.2.0-beta.1. cryptorebel_SV announced the beta release with new features and security enhancements, asking for testing and issue reports. The BSV Times summary frames it as strengthening block-header security and detailed UTXO management in a desktop wallet aimed at direct user control. cryptorebel_SV separately highlighted the bananablocks block explorer API as the basis for making ElectrumSV's USD conversion more robust.

Kallubi BSV Wallet 1.0.1. KallubiBSV shipped the desktop release with cross-platform builds and 12-word HD restore across common derivation paths, positioned as a way to recover from lost wallets without needing the original app. A preview post two days earlier had teased the "choose wallet name, restore, send" flow.

BSV-21 UTXO burn workaround. bsvdrip is working on a mechanism that would let a token creator identify the TXID that caused a burn and reissue lost tokens back to the original wallet — a token-layer recovery pattern rather than a protocol change.

Bitcoin Battle Bots. 71Nous reports construction complete on five bots, each verifying real BSV payments on a $5 chip before motors move, with no server or cloud dependency. Next stage is per-bot AI. This is a Physical AI demo rather than a product, but it's a concrete build worth noting.

txblaster.xyz. bailsito ran 25,000 transactions in seconds for $0.41 each stamped with a text payload, verifiable on any BSV explorer — a stress-test tool live at txblaster.xyz.

Janus. swapnowbish reports beta TVL growing on the cross-chain hopping app on BSV, with bugs patched as exposed. DMs open for testers.

Business and Adoption

Votari full launch. RealCoinGeek confirmed Votari moved from five-month trial to full iOS and Android release. The three eligibility models — open public votes, email-domain-restricted, and passport-gated — are the interesting part: it's a real product using BSV for verifiable elections and surveys, not another explainer of what could theoretically be built.

PaiyBit BSV streaming platform. Three outlets (MarketForces Africa, IntelligentUnit, TrichOgo) reported that BSV rose about 6% on Sunday after PaiyBit launched a BSV streaming platform. Details on PaiyBit itself are thin in what was shared — worth digging into next cycle.

Digital Chamber Convergence Forum. lindsayezy confirmed the BSV Association was a sponsor of the Digital Chamber's inaugural Convergence Forum in NYC, alongside OKX, Chainlink, zkSync and others. Chicago event follows October 8.

Onda by Universal Plastic. The BSV Times revisited the Onda case study — using BSV to verify plastic-cleanup collection activity by combining photos, location and collection data on-chain.

treechat. treechatai reports 16 people earned $0.77 for sharing posts in a given window, and Tinyjamj is running an article-tipping experiment on the platform. Small numbers, but this is exactly the kind of quiet ongoing usage that gets missed.

Mining economics. ianrimogarde notes that mining on BSV is currently more profitable than alternatives and is watching whether the trend holds.

Community and Discourse

Clarity Act speculation. Multiple accounts (Express_BSV, Kryptokrates, WatersAbve, BullRushClub, mayhemproto, Hekto100) tied the Senate Clarity Act procedural vote to BSV's regulatory positioning. Kryptokrates argues that reading the act's requirements backwards — locked rules, exclusive P2P custody, cheap verification, court-proof finality, arithmetic supply — describes BSV whether the community expects it to or not. The market direction on the day of the vote was flat-to-negative per BullRushClub's read. Anunzio99 pushes the opposite view: as written, BSV is more likely to be deemed centralized under the "common control" qualifier while BTC and ETH are not, citing Commissioner Peirce.

Bank regulator alignment posts. VinceLaBido posted twice on how BSV's feature set — high TPS, low fees, auditable UTXOs, compliant overlays, notary/asset-recovery mechanisms — maps onto Bank of England and FCA requirements, and separately Bank of Japan. Vince50818862 highlighted an FCA/BoE statement that solutions where customers have no recourse for lost or stolen assets are unacceptable, arguing BSV's Notary Asset Recovery was built specifically for this. These are analytical framings, not confirmed regulator engagement.

Rockwallet transition friction. imablackwolf reports Rockwallet is shutting down its working platform September 30 in favor of a replacement that currently isn't functional for him, and that Texas residents are unable to buy BSV. Several respondents suggested workarounds: Exodus swaps, Onramp.money direct fiat-to-BSV, and imablackwolf noted Canadian users face similar sourcing gaps. This is a real fiat on-ramp availability problem worth watching.

BSVA vs on-chain BSV confusion. XPeeR262 describes buying two separate types of "BSV" — one via Rockwallet (network BSV) and one via a BSVA contract on Alcor exchange, with Irina noted as majority controlling holder of the latter. This suggests ongoing confusion between the coin and a tokenized wrapper that some are treating as equivalent exposure. Unresolved and worth clarifying.

BgansEth vs OKX and Justin Bons. BgansEth pressed OKX on the BSV delisting and challenged Justin Bons directly, citing BSV's current 1M TPS and theoretical scaling to over 1B TPS.

BCH counterpoint content. BCHMinty posted a multi-part comparison arguing BCH has shipped a coordinated May 15 upgrade for four consecutive years without a chain split under a no-foundation model, and traced the block-height split history for BTC/BCH/BSV. bchvenezuela argued BSV's transaction volume is inorganic and the ecosystem's technology has stagnated relative to BCH.

Attack posts. Opcode_Network posted repeated identity attacks on Craig Wright and Calvin Ayre without substantive argument attached — excluded from analysis per the criteria.
